Host a learner. Build a pipeline.
Kaylord places learners with host employers across Limpopo as the workplace component of a six-month UIF-funded skills programme. There is no cost to you to host a learner. The qualification, training, and stipend are all funded.
Why employers host with Kaylord
Real pipeline, no recruitment cost
You get to assess learners across a six-month placement. By the time you decide whether to absorb someone permanently, you know their work ethic, their reliability, and how they fit your team.
B-BBEE skills development points
Hosting accredited learners contributes to the skills development element of the B-BBEE scorecard. We provide the documentation you need for verification.
Local talent for local roles
Our learners are recruited, trained and placed in their home districts. No relocation costs, no settling-in friction, no flight risk to bigger cities.
Single point of accountability
You deal with one Kaylord coordinator per district — for placement matching, attendance issues, performance reviews, anything. Not a different person every call.
What we ask of host employers
- Provide a real working environment relevant to the programme qualification.
- Assign a workplace mentor who can sign off the learner's monthly logbook.
- Allow our coordinator a quarterly site visit.
- Give honest feedback on whether the learner is suitable for permanent absorption — early enough that we can act on it.
How to start
Email info@kaylord.org with your company name, the district you operate in, and the type of roles you'd consider hosting learners for. We'll send you the host employer agreement, the qualification options most relevant to your sector, and confirm the next placement window.
